Kits of hand sanitizer, KN-95 masks, and hand soap are donated to Altamont Elementary School Tuesday morning by Jonathan Phillips, fifth-generation owner of Phillips Hardware, in back, at center. Next to him is the school nurse, Janeen Javoroski. The gift, worth $800, was made in partnership with the True Value Foundation. Accepting the gift are students in Carolyn Vogel’s fourth-grade class.
