Mall playground: A 25,000-square-foot children’s play emporium has opened on the third floor of Crossgates Mall, above Best Buy, in the site of a former movie theater. Billy Beez features over 30 slides, many of them three stories high; five full-size trampolines; a Ballistics ball-shooting air-cannon arena; interactive gaming; three-level play structures; “Honey Comb Village,” a child-sized, interactive play “town” featuring a house, a hospital, a grocery, a pizza parlor and other buildings; a “Honey Cafe”; a “Mini Beez” section for toddlers; and private party rooms. The cost for visitors aged five through 17 is $19.95 for an all-day pass. Children ages one through four are $11.95, and infants are free. Tickets for adults, who are welcome to play alongside kids throughout Billy Beez, are $6.95.
