Photos: Still remembering 15 years later

Last Sunday morning, Sept 11, Westmere Fire Department as well as McKownville and Altamont Fire Departments set off their sirens at 8:46 a.m. to signify when the first plane struck the World Trade Center in New York City. Knox also held a ceremony.

The bell tolls for all the lives lost 15 years ago on Sept. 11. Sunday morning, members of the Westmere Fire Department held a ceremony outside their firehouse to remember those who died in the terrorists’ attacks. Altamont, McKownville, and Knox held ceremonies as well that day.
