Photos: Dutch dominate home race

Running through Tawasentha Park in the 46th annual Guilderland Invitational, 17 schools competed on Saturday, Sept 10.

The Berne-Knox-Westerlo varsity cross-country team competed in the small-school division, fielding a team of five girls and three boys. Running well for the Bulldogs, Caroline Mundell finishes 13th with a time of 21:46.27, first for BKW girls.

Top five: Top male runner for BKW, Xzavier Rich finishes fourth with a time of 17:01.13,  besting a runner from Hadley-Luzerne.

The Guilderland varsity girls’ team won the large-school invitational with a score of 39 points.

It was business as usual, for Guilderland’s two Noahs, Carey and Tindale, as the finished first and second in the boys’ large- school race. At the start of the race, Carey is at center in the red headband, and Tindale is to his right. Carey finished with a time of 14:58.43 and Tindale’s time was 15:21.58. The varsity boys finished in third place with 80 points.
