The Enterprise — Dennis Sullivan

History reborn: The Enterprise and the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy gave away free seeds for Bender melons this spring from which Don Meacham of Voorheesville grew this beauty. The seeds were procured by Enterprise columnist and Voorheesville historian Dennis Sullivan who wrote the definitive history on the Bender Melon Farm. The conservancy is raising funds to purchase the historic property on Route 85A in New Scotland.
