Last week, Crossgates Mall held a job fair to start hiring new people for the Crossgates’ new hotel, the dual-branded Tru and Homewood Suites by Hilton, opening this fall.

New employee? A woman sits inside an empty store on Tuesday, between Zales Jewelers and Starbucks, filling out an application to work at the new Crossgates hotel. The job fair runs until Friday, each day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Positions include: guest service supervisors and representatives, van drivers, room attendants, houseperson, night cleaner, housekeeping supervisor, servers, cook, night auditor, engineers, and laundry attendant.
