Demolition stands half-completed on Friday at an apartment house at 3825 Carman Rd. in Guilderland, which was destroyed by fire on July 17. The fire killed resident Alfred Watson, 51, whose family owned the building. Town officials stopped the demolition when they discovered that the wrong insurance forms had been submitted to the town. Acting Chief Building and Zoning Inspector Jacqueline Coons said that as soon as the town receives the right paperwork, demolition will continue. “It should be done soon,” she said.
