Student-athlete leaders: Twenty students from Berne-Knox-Westerlo in grades seven to 12, selected by their coaches, attended the Western Athletic Conference Leadership Conference on March 24, at Fulton-Montgomery Community College where they heard Gary Pritchard address handling adversity during athletic competitions, stretching boundaries, and motivating teammates. The BKW students were grouped with athletes from neighboring schools to compete in team-building games. These BKW students, listed alphabetically, attended: Brad Ableman, Lukus Becker, Monique Britton, Justin Houck, Morgan Latham, Edwin Lawson, Liz Lendrum, Stephanie Mason, Sarah Martin, Taylor Meacham, Amanda Meehan, Patrick Meehan, Rylee Morrow, Shea Murphy, Kristen Norray, Thomas Payne, Slade Pulliam, Allie Tedeschi, Sydney Torrisi, and Drew Wideman.
