The Enterprise — Marcello Iaia

Snow spectacle: A snowman built by Scott Leininger and his cousin, Kiel Weston, stands roughly 25-feet tall as visitors drive last Thursday night to witness its scale in the middle of Leininger’s field on Route 158 in Guilderland. With close to $3,500 so far collected, the pair is asking onlookers to donate toward Weston’s first attempt at an Ironman triathlon in Lake Placid this July — support.themmrf.org/goto/frosty — which benefits research of multiple myeloma, the second most common blood cancer and one which has afflicted the father of Weston’s best friend.
