In its most communal moments, the Rensselaerville town-wide picnic featured a flag-folding presentation and flag-raising by the American Legion Post 291 from Greenville. The Village Voices a cappella group from Rensselaerville, led by Jan Bishop, sang “America the Beautiful.”
