Darielys Maya, a recent Guilderland graduate who earn certification as a welder in the Capital Region BOCES Career & Technical School, will study welding at Hudson Valley Community College and pursue a job as a welder at Greyhound. “I like hands-on learning and I like to work with heat so this is a good fit,” she said. “I look back and never could have imagined myself in a welding lab, but now I can’t imagine myself not.”
