First-flight tradition: On May 14, as Allegiant Airlines began direct non-stop service between Albany International Airport and Nashville, Tennessee, the airport's rescue and firefighting department created a 1,500-gallon water cannon arch. Allegiant will provide two direct flights each week to Nashville.
