The Enterprise — Marcello Iaia

Enterprise photographer Michael Koff was honored this week with a plaque from the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Booster Club, which praises his years of Hilltown coverage “even through the Lost Season.” The wording was dictated by the booster club’s president, Mike Puzulis, whose daughter, Michelle, is a stand-out BKW cross-country runner. The pandemic interfered with her chance to shine in her senior year, Puzulis said, and the community recognition that came from Koff’s pictures helped ease the disappointment. Koff, whose work has been recognized with awards from the New York Press Association, has been the Enterprise photographer since 2007. During the pandemic, Koff has been both eyes and ears for The Enterprise as he takes photographs and records press conferences and events so his elderly editor can remain safely sequestered to write stories.
