Setting ready to run: Guilderland’s Kate Scanlan gets her hands into position on the starting line in the girls’ 4x400-meter relay on Saturday morning at Ocean Breeze Track and Field Athletic Complex on Staten Island. Scanlan ran 1:01.81 and the Guilderland relay team finished 13th in the state.
