Fresh things: Customers peruse the grounds of the First United Methodist Church in Voorheesville on opening day, June 19, of the farmers’ market. The market, where people can buy fresh produce, flowers, cheese, meat, or hot meals while listening to music or admiring art, is open on Wednesdays till Oct. 2, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. “It’s a labor of love for me to bring people together,” said Dianne Luci who has been organizing the market for 11 years.
