Gail Sacco will be retiring October 26 from the Voorheesville Public Library after serving 30 years as its director. We will be having a community potluck party at the Wallace Town Park on Swift Road, on Sept. 30 from 1 to 6 pm, to honor her service.

The Voorheesville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary is having their 2nd Annual Vendor Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Post. A crock pot bar, beverages and bake sale are available. A raffle of items provided by our vendors and 50/50 also available.
A chicken barbeque and bake sale will be held at the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Elementary School on Friday, Sept. 28, from 3:15 - 6:15 pm. Please call Colleen at 518-872-2538 to pre-order dinner by Tuesday, Sept. 25 for $12 each or pick up a order form at the elementary school. The cost will be $15 the day of the event. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the BKW Elementary Back Pack program, which provides food to local families on weekends during the school year through our partnership with the Regional Food Bank.
