Depot Lane Singers: “Back to Broadway”.  Performances will be presented by The Singers on Friday, May 4, at the Duanesburg Reformed Presbyterian Church, and will be repeated on Saturday evening at Schoharie High School. Admission is $7.00 pre-sale ($8.00 at the door) for adults and Senior Citizens, $3.00 for children under 12.  Both concerts will begin at 7:30 PM.

An English Country Dance on May 6 at Channing Hall of the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 405 Washington Avenue, Albany 12206. The Dance will be held 2 -5 PM, an Introductory Workshop is at 1:30 PM.  All are welcome, no experience or partner is necessary. Admission is $14 at the door, $12 members.

Citizen Science: Bumble Bee Watch on Sunday, May 6, from 1 – 2:30 pm. Bumble bees, like many other bees, have been experiencing range and abundance declines due to pesticide use, spread of diseases by commercial pollinators, habitat destruction and climate change. Measuring that decline is difficult to do on a large scale, which is where you come in! Join us today as we hike approximately one mile to look for bumblebees in the preserve and learn how you can participate in Bumble Bee Watch, a collaborative effort to track and conserve North America’s bumble bees.

SUNY Cobleskill Plant Sale is back, this year with even more ideas and foods to sample. The day-long event kicks off at 7 am and ends at 4 pm.. In a nod to its new tagline: “Grow, Sustain, Renew,” the College is offering features that include student club-run information sessions, expert advice and guidance from faculty, and a culinary Tasting Tent with award-winning chef Michael Lapi.
