The Clarksville Historical society will present its second fall program. Come join us to hear Mark Bodnar, ARC trustee & historian as he gives a tour of the many historic figures interred in the “Albany Rural Cemetery” including some from the civil war. The program will be held at the Clarksville Community Church, Delaware Tpke. Clarksville, NY and start at 7:00 PM. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome, free admission.

“DNA and Genealogy: Powerful Tools to Discover Your Family History” New Scotland Historical Association. Gail Sacco will be retiring October 26 from the Voorheesville Public Library after serving 30 years as its director. We will be having a community potluck party at the Wallace Town Park on Swift Road, on Sept. 30 from 1 to 6 pm, to honor her service.
 

Bethlehem Historical Association Museum will host another "pop up" centering on the concept of "then and now." 2 to 4 p.m. Two former educators will display artifacts from long ago and ask visitors to match these items with artifacts/pictures of current comparable items. They will also have toys from yesteryear for visitors to play with. Cedar Hill Schoolhouse,1003 River Road, Selkirk.

Bag Sale. Sunday, Sept 30, from noon - 3 p.m.; Wednesday, Oct 3, from 3:30 - 6:30 pm  Fill a bag for $1. Karie Jean's Closet, at the Methodist Church, 68 Maple Ave, Voorheesville. All proceeds go to missions projects.
