Chilipalooza at B’nai Sholom Reform Congregation. The spicy deliciousness takes place Saturday, Feb. 2, 6 - 9 p.m. at the synagogue, 420 Whitehall Road, Albany, New York. Chilipalooza is open to the public.  Admission is $8 per person with a maximum of $20 per family.  Contest entrants receive a $4 discount. Cornbread, fixings and beverages will be provided, making this the perfect antidote to a cold February evening.

The Friendship Singers of Delmar will present a free Christmas 2018 public concert at the New Scotland Presbyterian Church at 2010 New Scotland Avenue in Slingerlands, on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 7 pm. There’ll be something for everyone—from old favorites (some in surprising form!) and sing-alongs to the haunting strains of Robert Frost’s “Stopping By Woods,” set to music.  Our director is Marie Liddle, accompanist Peg Dorgan, and percussionist Jeff Marshall.
