​Chicken n Biscuit Dinner. The Boyd Hilton VFW 7062 Auxiliary will host their Annual Chicken n Biscuit on Norv. 4, at the VFW located on 11 Mill Street, Altamont. We will be serving from 4 - 7 p.m. The dinner will include Chicken n Biscuits, gravy, veggies, cranberry sauce, Mashed potatoes, Coffee Tea, and a variety of Pies for dessert. The donation for the dinner is $11.00 per person, tickets are available at the VFW any day from 2 p.m. till at least 7 p.m. Eat in or dine out available.

The Altamont Masonic Lodge at 138 Maple Ave is holding their annual roast beef dinner on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The cost is: Adults - $12.00, kids under 12 - $7.00, under 5 are free. Craft and Vendor Fair Saturday, Nov. 4, 9 a m. to 3 p.m.at Onesquethaw Reformed Church, 11 Groesbeck Road (off of Tarrytown Road), Feura Bush, NY 12067.  A variety of crafters and vendors including Thirty-One, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Lularoe and others will be displaying their wares.  There will also be a bake sale and soup & chili will be available for lunch.  Benefit of Camp Fowler Scholarship Fund.
