The Schonowe Vol. Fire Co. invites the public to their Annual Ham/Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner. The dinner will be served at the Cobblestone Church, 118 Putnam Road in Rotterdam (½ mi. from Via Port). Meals will be available for eating in or for takeout from 4 to 7 p.m. or until sold out. Adult portion is $10, child portion is $5. If requested, we will free deliver for up to 1 mile from meal site.

The fifth-grade students at Altamont Elementary School are once again hosting the Celebrate America Carnival from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Fundraiser for the class of 2018 end of the year trip.
New Salem Fire Department will have a fish fry dinner from 4:30 – 7:00. Fresh haddock fish, homemade clam strips, and fried shrimp. The dinner includes homemade coleslaw, a baked potato or French fries and beverage. Also, order homemade New England or Manhattan clam chowder and dessert. Guilderland High School is hosting its 10th Annual Dodgeball Tournament to benefit the Altamont Food Pantry at 5 p.m. in the West Gym. Tickets are $3 a person at the door.
