Helderberg Senior Services offers meals Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays at the Berne Community Center. Adults 60 and older residing in Albany County are welcome to enjoy lunch prepared and served by LifePath and funded by the Albany County Department of Aging.

Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Doors open at 11 a.m. A $3 donation is suggested. Masks are required when not seated at a table and actively eating.

You must call Karen Stark at 518-937-5963 by 10 a.m. the day before you plan on attending as 24-hour advance notice is required to ensure enough meals are provided.

Anyone at any age can use the services of ACCESS (Albany County Center for Essential Supportive Services). ACCESS provides assistance and information on health-related issues, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program), and other programs.

Appointments are scheduled on Tuesdays at the Berne Community Center located at 1360 Helderberg Trail in Berne. Make your appointment by calling Dee Albert at 518-447-7192.
