Hilltowns Senior News for Wednesday, December 15, 2021

The Hilltown Seniors met on Dec. 11 for our meeting and Christmas gathering at the Community ACCESS/Senior Center with our Christmas grab bag and smiling faces. We had a short meeting followed by some Christmas carols sung by the members.

I presented the group with a Hawaiian rendition of the “Twelve Days of Christmas.” Four members were dressed in Hawaiian outfits with their props ready. What a hoot

The joyous music was provided by Denny White and we are so blessed to have talent in abundance in our group.

Next came the caterer with our luncheon! Wow — appetizers, salad, scalloped potatoes, baked ham, delicious vegetables,  and then cupcakes for dessert. Thanks to Michelle Vincent for this wonderful spread.

After that came the gift exchange. We pulled names out of the basket and you came and picked up your gift. The gift bought had to begin with one of the letters in the words “Merry Christmas.” I received candy — that couldn’t have been more perfect for this girl!

What a great way to end the 2021 year. We are looking forward to 2022 with two trips being planned as we are so ready to travel once again!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year from the Hilltown Seniors.
