Hilltowns Senior News for Wednesday, August 17, 2022

The Hilltown Seniors met Saturday with 50 members in attendance. The meeting opened with the salute to the American flag and one verse of “America the Beautiful” and with a moment of silence for departed member Lora Ricketts.

We then discussed upcoming events and trip. Thirty-four members are leaving on Aug. 15 for a trip to Noah’s Ark in Kentucky. Our trip leader has now scheduled a train ride in September and I will plan a casino trip in October.

Our guest speaker in October will be Kathy Stempel from the Town of Berne Library. Our book club is looking forward to her visit. We are all looking forward to next month with all the smiling faces and we always welcome new members!
