Altamont Senior News for Friday, February 9, 2018

Altamont and Hilltown residents who are 55 and over are welcome to attend the regular Tuesday luncheons held by the Altamont Seniors, starting at 11:30 a.m., at the St. Lucy/Bernadette Parish Center on Grand Street in Altamont.

You can bring any friends who are younger or older for the entertainment and lunch. Please call Winne Klenotiz at (518) 861-5161 no later than Sunday evening prior to the scheduled event for a reservation.  Bus transportation will be provided only for seniors living in Altamont.  

On Feb. 13, Pat Lightbody and Charlotte Fuss will be showing us how to make silk flowers. Please bring a pair of pantyhose that can be used for this craft.

On Feb. 27, Edward Frank and his friend Kerry Thompson, from the Albany County Sheriff's Office, will provide “Music by Kerry.”

The Knox Traditional Strings has been invited to play in March — date confirmation will be provided.
