Nurseryman Paul Steinkamp, owner of Helderledge Farm in New Scotland, will speak at 6:30 p.m. on May 15 at Voorheesville Public Library on “A Garden for the People.”

With a degree in landscape architecture and a lifetime of experience, he’ll also address front lawns.

He told The Enterprise, “I’ll talk about what you can do to enhance your house while addressing the national problem of lawns — the poisons, the wasted water and energy, and on and on.”

thank you, Paul

The perspective and insight Paul Steinkamp shared in tonight's talk helped us in our plans for our own yard, but also it has given us perspective that will help us think about the greenery and layouts of houses and yards in our own community.
