The farm-stand owner’s application for a special-use permit will not be heard by the planning board on July 7 as she had expected.

ALBANY COUNTY — Albany County corrections officer Ryan M. Lawson was charged on Wednesday with falsely reporting an incident, a misdemeanor.

The Albany County Sheriff’s office had put out a release earlier this week, saying an unnamed employee had had a lit firework tossed into his living room on Saturday night.

NEW SCOTLAND — David Lawrence is one of the teachers who Voorheesville’s Class of 2020 would go to if they had problems.

At its June 24 meeting, the Guilderland Planning Board was asked by the town board to “make a decision on what improvements, if any, will be required at the Church Road/Western Avenue intersection and Church Road/Great Oaks Boulevard entrance.”

Although she is grateful for the pledged donations, Altamont Fair Manager Amy Anderson says money for cameras isn’t what is needed right now. 

Customers in New Scotland’s Northeast Water District could have clearer water and fire protection if the town obtains grants that would lower the cost to connect to a new water source.
