GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland Chamber of Commerce is moving to “the hub of Guilderland,” says a release from the organization.

Moving the chamber to a central location, with visibility from Western Avenue, was a top priority for Kathy Burbank when she became executive director in 2007, the release says.

The city of Albany has an incentive to bring more garbage to the rapidly filling dump on Rapp Road. The incentive is money.  The financially strapped city takes in millions of dollars from landfill users.

GCSD not panicked over state-aid cut proposal
