English philosopher Francis Bacon said, "Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested." It seems that only the reader can decide which is which.

February is Library Lovers' Month; a great time to explore why libraries are loved.  It may be the free access to books and movies or perhaps it is the ability to serve as a community hub.

In the United States, the fourth Thursday of November is the designated day for giving thanks.  However, daily appreciation of people and things in your life would be more appropriate.
