Here we are into September: The kids are back in school; the school buses are picking up the little darlings; and on Tuesday, Sept.

On Tuesday, Aug. 30, with the summer of 2016 is almost gone, the Old Men of the Mountain met at the Duanesburg Diner in Duanesburg.

On Aug. 23, the Old Men of the Mountain met at the Your Way Café in Schoharie.

Tuesday, Aug. 16, the Old Men of the Mountain were sitting on the benches of the Country Café in Schoharie waiting for the proprietors to open the doors.

On Tuesday, Aug. 9, as the summer marches on, the Old Men of the Mountain met at Mrs. K’s Family Restaurant in the heart of the village of Middleburgh.

The Old Men of the Mountain can’t believe it but it is August already, and on Aug. 2 the OMOTM met at the Middleburgh Café in Middleburgh.

Where were you on July 26, 2016? We know where most of the Old Men of the Mountain were — they were at Kim’s West Winds Diner on Route 145 in Preston Hollow.

July 19, 2016: That is the date that the Old Men of the Mountain met at the Hilltown Café in Rensselaerville. It is safe to say none of the OMOTM were around in 1916, but it is getting close.

On the morning of Tuesday, July 12, (a nice day for a ride) the Old Men of the Mountain drove to the Home Front Café in Altamont.

The day after the Fourth of July, the Old Men of the Mountain met at the Chuck Wagon Diner in Princetown.
