Thanks to all of the friends who took part in our Summer Reading Program this year, which wrapped up last week.

Two weeks ago, we told you about our “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” StoryWalk in Schilling Park. Last week, we introduced you to our “Sad Birds Still Sing” StoryWalk for teens in Bozenkill Park.

Last week, we introduced our “Brown Bear, Brown Bear” StoryWalk in Schilling Park. This week, we’d like to introduce one in Bozenkill Park!

If you need to get out of the house with your young folks, and would like to get a bit of reading done at the same time, why not take a StoryWalk at Schilling Park!

Hey young friends! Join our annual summer reading program!

Have you met Rosie Raccoon? She’s going to be hanging around Altamont this summer, and she’d love to make some new friends, but first you have to find her.

Ever since March 15, when we temporarily closed the library due to the COVID-19 epidemic, we’ve been pushing back the due dates on library materials that were checked out before we closed.

Keep an eye out for the return of the Altamont Farmers’ Market, which will be returning its home under our overhang as early as this week.

Some happy news, but also some sad news this week. Let’s start with the good.

As more businesses and services in the Capital Region begin to reopen, we at Altamont Free Library are in the final stages of preparing for our return.
