Salisbury vs. Barber for highway superintendent

KNOX — Republican incumbent Gary Salisbury is running for a fourth term as highway superintendent, and will be challenged by Dennis Barber, who is running on the Democratic line.

After practicing law for 23 years, including seven years in Albany County, Christopher Aldrich is making his first run for town judge on the Republican ticket.

GUILDERLAND — Democratic incumbent Rosemary Centi is running unopposed for another two-year term as town clerk. She has been Guilderland’s clerk since 2000, and was unopposed in the last three elections.

 

 

GUILDERLAND — Local, independently-owned florists in Guilderland are worried that the Guilderland Fire Department’s annual Valentine’s Day fund-raiser is going to put them out of business.

GUILDERLAND — A woman was apprehended by Guilderland Police after she fled from Crossgates Mall, hit two police officers with her car, and led a car chase.
