GUILDERLAND — Julie White, a nurse who loved cats, died on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. She was 41.

She was born on Jan. 24, 1973, in Gouverneur, the daughter of Richard White and Joyce Ashlaw.

She graduated from Edwards-Knox Central School in 1991 and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in 1993.

GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland Town Board and the Altamont Village Board of Trustees held a joint public hearing on Tuesday night to discuss annexing more than 50 acres of land from Guilderland to the village.

When Dennis Moore first came on the job the town had just purchased Tawasentha Park, and it was the only park Guilderland owned. The town now owns eight parks spread over nearly 600 acres.

“We used the tail number on the plane to track down the pilot,” said Captain Curtis Cox of the Guilderland Police Department.

When Reed pleaded guilty, she was informed that, if she failed to follow the conditions of her felony probation, the court could find her in violation of the conditions and sentence her to time in state prison.

“I think the pageants are a good way to help girls with self-confidence,” said McKayla Snyder's mother.
