A call from a woman whose mother-in-law was scammed led Senator George Amedore, who serves on the Senate’s Consumer Protection Committee, to host sessions, aimed at the elderly, on how to avoid scams. Last Friday, 140 people attended such a session at the Guilderland Public Library.
