Arlene P. (née Chrysler) Nykorchuck died peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2024, in St. Peter’s Hospital. She was 89.

Born in Voorheesville on April 27, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Olin “Happy” and Edna Loux Chrysler and the beloved wife of the late William Nykorchuck.

WESTERLO — Ronald D. “Ron” Wilday, a town justice who was active in his church and community, “passed away peacefully and went to meet his Savior on Sunday, June 2, 2024,” his family wrote in a tribute. He was 90.

A memorial service for Dennis A. White will be held Sunday, June 23, at the Berne Reformed Church at 1663 Helderberg Trail in Berne.

A loving husband and father of five, he died on April 19, 2024 at the age of  77.

BERNE — Diana L. Gordinier, a loving mother and grandmother, died peacefully after a short illness on Monday, June 10, 2024. She was 77.

“Nannie lived for her children and her grandchildren,” her family wrote in a tribute. “She brought the most joy to them and they brought the most joy to her. She will be missed.”

“The steadfast rock of the family has taken his leave of this earthly world and is probably letting St. Peter know how he can spruce up the place. Vall Pulliam passed away on June 9, 2024,” his family wrote in a tribute. He was 89.

ALTAMONT — Gabriel Joseph Zullo, whose friends and family called him “Gabe,” “went home to our Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2024,” his family wrote in a tribute. He was 17.

The beloved son of Peter and Abbie Zullo, he was born on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2006.

WESTERLO — Alice Mary Spinelli, who devoted her life to caring for family and friends, died on Friday, May 17, 2024, after a brief illness. She was 79.

She was born on May 3, 1945 to a large family of nine children in Albany and grew up in Voorheesville.

ALBANY — Ellen Ann Miller, a dedicated volunteer who ran her own day-care business, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 in St. Peter’s Hospice. She was 76.

Thelma I. Elgie

ALTAMONT — Thelma I. Elgie, longtime resident of Altamont, died peacefully on Thursday, May 30, in Albany with her loving family by her side. She was 102.

Born in 1922, she was the daughter of the late George and Hattie Spawn Gade. She was the beloved wife of the late Augustus “Jim” Elgie Jr. who died in 1956.
