BETHLEHEM — Restaurant Appreciate Week, sponsored by the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, is Jan. 24 to 31.

ALTAMONT — Due to recent icing on roads, parking lots, and sidewalks and the renewed concerns regarding surges in cases of the latest COVID-19 variant, organizers have suspended the Altamont Seniors Tuesday lunch program for the remaining weeks of January.

Altamont Community Tradition’s Festival of Lights raised $2,550, to be divided among the pantries along with food donations. In addition, Phillips Hardware raised $3,070 during its holiday fundraising program.

ALBANY COUNTY — B’nai Sholom Reform Congregation in Albany and Delmar Presbyterian Church in Delmar are teaming up once again to collect nonperishable food to stock Little Free Food Pantries in Albany and Schenectady.

ALBANY COUNTY — This past year, from June through September, Albany residents for the first time could board a bus for free to visit nine natural areas in Albany County.

Nearly 1,000 city residents rode the Nature Bus over its 15-week run to get to the outdoor locations to enjoy nature.
