Bethlehem Chamber promotes eateries
BETHLEHEM — Restaurant Appreciate Week, sponsored by the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce, is Jan. 24 to 31.
“Restaurants have taken a huge hit over the past couple of years,” said Bethlehem Chamber President Maureen McGuinness. “While many were able to pivot and offer curbside pick-up and delivery, now many are facing staffing shortages, as well as supply chain challenges.”
The chamber has more than 20 member restaurants on its website, and is promoting restaurants through social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Many restaurants, like Garden Bistro 24 in Slingerlands, and Track 32 in Feura Bush, offer weekly specials. Garden Bistro 24 offers Winter Hearty Meal Wednesday, with Chicken Frites this week, and Fisherman’s Pie the first week of February. Track 32 is featuring Chicken Ravioli Bank, Chicken Theresa Pizza, and Jacked Beef Brisket sandwich.
Twisted Vine Wine & Tap in Delmar has started offering meal kits for the weekend. Customers can pick up all the fixings for their meals and, with a little prep and cooking, have a great meal.
Nicole’s recently announced it has started offering Sunday brunch again. Reservations are encouraged.
“If people aren’t comfortable dining in, we encourage delivery and takeout,” McGuinness said. “Or pick up a gift card and dine again when the time feels more comfortable.”
