On Sunday, February 21 the Guilderland Indoor track team held their 5th Frigid Cup meet outside on their track at Guilderland High School in Guilderland.  The Dutch broke up into three color teams (red, white, and black) to face one another.

On February 18th, the Guilderland girls and Voorheesville girls basketball teams opened up their shortened season against one another at Guilderland High School in Guilderland. No fans were allowed inside the gym but the game was live-streamed via Guilderland High School Media program.

On Feb. 16, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys basketball team was itching to get back on the hardwood since COVID-19 hit. The State, which designated basketball as a “high-risk” sport, finally gave the sport the green light with the help from Albany County and BKW school board to return.

On Feb. 14, the Guilderland Gymnasts took to the mat for one last time this year in the Suburban Council Championships at World Class Gymnastics in Latham.

The Voorheesville Blackbirds bowling team was looking to gather momentum towards Wednesday, Feb. 10th Colonial Council Championships on Monday afternoon in a virtual match against LaSalle at Town n’ Country lanes in Guilderland.

On Feb. 7, the Guilderland gymnastic team held their final meet at World Class Gymnastics to face Shaker and Bethlehem. The Shaker meet that was supposed to be on Feb. 1 was postponed due to inclement weather. The Dutch beat Shaker 160.225 to 145.075 and lost to Bethlehem 161.475 to 160.225.

Guilderland’s Nordic team travelled to Gore Mountain Ski Bowl in North Creek to participate in the Lake George/Glens Falls Nordic Invitational on Jan. 30. The competition was delayed due to wind chill temperatures being eight below.
