Photos: GHS "Indoor" Track take it Outdoors

On Sunday, February 21 the Guilderland Indoor track team held their 5th Frigid Cup meet outside on their track at Guilderland High School in Guilderland.  The Dutch broke up into three color teams (red, white, and black) to face one another. The red team won Sunday’s meet, 262.5 points and have the overall lead with 1220.5.

Leading the way: Guilderland’s Maxwell Wang (black team) leads in the boys’ 3200-meter run while a bunch of teammates and opponents battle in the 3000-meter girls’ run. Wang won with a time of 5:13.4 and Sophia Shatynksi (red team) won the 3000-meter with a time of 13:09.2.

Chilly run: Guilderland’s Gavin Davis and a teammate run in the boys’ 1000-meter run. Davis finished third with a time of 3:33.9.

A little hop: Guilderland’s Trinity Kenney prepares to land on the mat in the long jump modified event since the pits are snowed over inside the East gym. Kenney finished 12th with a distance of 16 feet, 7 inches.
