DELANSON — Theresa P. Luksa spread unconditional love, to the children at the Duanesburg school where she worked and to her family and friends, her family said. She died peacefully at her home on Monday, Dec. 24, 2018. She was 89.

Cindi M. Countermine Gariepy

ALBANY —  Cindi M. Countermine Gariepy — described by her family as a loving mother and proud grandma — died peacefully after a long illness, on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018, at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Irwin H. King

KNOX — Irwin H. King, a man who seemed to have lived many lives in one, died surrounded by his family on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, Florida. He was 85.

David J. Filkins

EAST BERNE — David J. Filkins — whom his family described as “a great man, husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend” — died suddenly at Albany Medical Center on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018.

He was born in Albany and resided in East Berne. He was a Class of 1988 graduate of Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

ALBANY — Robert Keenholts Uhl, known as Bob to his friends and family, died at home on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018. He was 92.
