DELANSON — Christine M. Johnston, a woman of many passions and skills, died on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018, at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 63.

DELANSON —  Lynda M. Harrington, who worked for the Thruway authority and loved her family, died on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 61.

She was born in Albany, on June 27, 1957, the daughter of Alberta Knauf and the late Robert P. Knauf Sr.

VOORHEESVILLE — Elizabeth E. “Betsy” Bates, an upbeat person who never complained, died on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018. She was 76.

ALTAMONT — A prayerful woman who adored her family and looked after those in need, Mary O. Beals died on Friday, Oct. 19, 2018, with her loving family by her side. She was 84.

ALTAMONT — Beatrice Orsini, who loved gardening and cooking, died on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018. She was 85.

She was born on Sept. 27, 1933.

VOORHEESVILLE — Gregory E. Burgoon, an incredibly courageous, humble, and persevering man, died on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018. He was 65.

Diagnosed with mouth cancer, he was given four to six months to live — that was 16 years ago. He battled the disease “with courage and grace,” his family wrote in a tribute.

KNOX —  Craig Champion, a letter carrier and volunteer fireman, died peacefully in his sleep at St Peter’s Hospice Inn on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, after a battle with cancer. He was 44.

VOORHEESVILLE — William Morrison, a World War II veteran who had twin careers as a teacher and actor, died at home on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018. He was 95.

He died on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018. He was 51.
