Margaret R. Fredrickson

NEW SCOTLAND — Margaret R. “Peggy” (née Carr) Fredrickson, a teacher who founded a nursery school and who liked sailing with her husband, died at the Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland, near her home in Sudbury, Massachusetts, on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018. She was 80.

James Henry Leonard Jr.

VOORHEESVILLE — James Leonard Jr. was a “good man, a family man, who worked hard all his life,” said his wife, Theresa Femia-Leonard.

James Henry Leonard Jr. died on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Delmar. He was 79.

ALTAMONT — Marijo Dougherty was a curator — a caretaker of art and of historic artifacts that she shared with others in ways that taught people about themselves. She was also a caretaker of people, caring for them personally and connecting them to each other in ways that moved projects forward.

WESTERLO — Roger A. Hannay, a leader in business as well as his community, died on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018. He was 75.
