It can be difficult to run outside in the winter. Cross-country skiing has become a popular alternative for Guilderland runners.

Almost everything about gymnastics is internal.

One by one, the Guilderland gymnasts swung from one bar to the next.

Monday's basketball game at Voorheesville became frantic in the final minute when Ravena started fouling.

In his 20th year of coaching varsity girls' basketball at Berne-Knox-Westerlo, Tom Galvin got his 300th win on Wednesday.

Guilderville swimmers competed with those from Shenendehowa this week.

Guilderland's unbeaten season was derailed by Shenendehowa.

The Guilderland indoor track team competed at the University of Albany on Sunday for a Section 2 meet. The meet came one day after some Dutch athletes participated in the Dartmouth Relays at Dartmouth College in Vermont. The Guilderland boys’ team placed fourth out of 10 schools with 51 points. The girls’ team placed fifth out of nine schools with 34 points.

Guilderland's defense made it almost impossible for Mohonasen to win Tuesday's game.

Voorheesville may have turned a serious corner on its season by holding nothing back at Lansingburgh.

Some basketball leagues of Section 2 will be restructured for next year following the fall out of the Big 10; Guilderland, Voorheesville, and Berne-Knox-Westerlo will have new opponents.
