GUILDERLAND – The Guilderland Teacher’s Association will be having its annual Springfest honoring the following retiring members: Betty Ahern, Susan Anderson, Kristine Culotti, Linda Dagostino, Pamela Durocher, Davia Dymond, Deb Escobar, Mary Pat Googas, Maryellen Evertsen, Jo-Ann Gejay, Sandra Grant, Stephen Hadden, and Debra Hoffman.

David Taylor from Schenectady, serving with the 827th Engineer Company of the New York Army National Guard has been promoted to the rank of private.

Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.

ALBANY COUNTY — Cornell Cooperative Extension Albany County is compiling a list of renovators certified by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Guilderland — Latitude 360, a 50,000-square-foot entertainment destination, featuring a variety of dining and recreational activities with 20 bowling lanes, is set to open this fall at Crossgates Mall.

Its entrance will be located inside Crossgates Mall on the lower level by Pandora.
