GUILDERLAND — Please help us find a forever home for A1 (T. Mont), our giant plush horse. Limited raffle tickets are being sold for $5 each; the drawing is on Dec. 20. He will be on display at the Home Front Cafe this weekend and you can always find a picture on our Facebook page.

GUILDERLAND — Guilderhaven has a very busy fall schedule starting with the Rotary Pet Fair on Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shaker Heritage Society.

Arlene’s Artist Materials is having an Art Fair, showcasing local artists and craftspeople.

She has graciously invited Guilderhaven and Good Egg Design to be there on Friday, Aug. 18, from noon to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

GUILDERLAND — Our wildlife rehabilitator has become swamped with young, abandoned, and injured baby squirrels that will need to be wintered over and released next spring.

GUILDERLAND – SOS: To our wonderful supportive community, please check your closets, garages, attics, cellars, outbuildings, or in buildings for any new items that you have stashed away. We are looking for these unused “presents” for a re-gifting fund-raiser.

GUILDERLAND — Oops! The town of Guilderland’s Shredding Day took place on Nov. 3.

If there is anyone in the community who wanted to donate items to either the Regional Food Bank or Guilderhaven, please call me directly at 861-6861 and I will pick up.

Sorry for any inconvenience.
