Honored to serve Guilderland for 20 years

To the Editor:
Now that the last year of my final term on the Guilderland Town Board is coming to an end, I would like to thank the residents of Guilderland for all of their support during the past 20 years.

It has been an incredibly humbling, rewarding, and learning experience to serve as a public servant and town representative and having had the opportunity to meet so many of our residents and business owners. I am truly honored that I had this opportunity to serve our town for so many years.

I have had the privilege of serving with two truly great, transparent, and forward-thinking supervisors during the last 21 years: Peter Barber and Ken Runion. They have both done a phenomenal job of moving the town forward. I am very proud to have been a part of both of these fiscally responsible administrations.

I have had the opportunity to work with many of the town’s department heads and employees. I would like to acknowledge and thank all town employees for all of the work that they do each and every day in so many capacities in providing many excellent services for our residents and keeping the town safe.

I hope to stay involved with our town in the future.
