State Farm Road needs municipal water

To the Editor:

Water, water, everywhere but here.

It’s my understanding that the town of New Scotland has a waterline next to the train trestle on Route 155, and, on the other side of the road, Voorheesville, of course, has water, and approximately a mile north on 155, Guilderland has water.

The main artery leading into this beautiful town has no water, yet many developments are in progress with the approval of water by all three.

It may be time to bring this one mile in tow with the progress and movement of a growing community, raising the value of this one mile to new development, which will enhance the character of the entrance to a beautiful community.

I think with all three entities of a water supply, something can be negotiated that will benefit all concerned.

We have lived on this road for many years and find it hard to believe that this has not been accomplished.
