Pack 73 collects over a ton of food

To the Editor:

The Voorheesville Cub Scouts Pack 73 did it again!

Cub Scout Pack 73 collected and donated 2,446 pounds of food to the New Scotland Community Food Pantry just before our Thanksgiving meal program. They are an amazing group of young boys and our families are well fed due to their generosity.

The food pantry also is deeply grateful to the community for its support of the Cub Scouts, who couldn’t collect these items without the assistance and generosity of the New Scotland community and, of course, their parents, who drive them all around on a Saturday morning!

Thank you, one and all, for your generosity of self.
