To the Editor:

The St. John’s Lutheran community is very happy to welcome our new pastor, Rev. Eric Reimer and his young family to Altamont from southeast Pennsylvania.

Pastor Eric, spouse Courtney, son Josiah, daughter Eliza, and mother Vicki are settled into the parsonage and busy acclimating to the Altamont Elementary and Farnsworth Middle schools.

All are welcome to meet Pastor Eric at St. John’s worship services on Sundays at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary at 140 Maple Ave. Services are also broadcast live on Zoom via the link on the church website.  

St. John’s is decorating the church for the upcoming Advent season, hosting another Red Cross Blood Drive on Thanksgiving Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., participating in the Altamont Festival of Lights at Orsini Park, and gearing up for celebration of the church’s 150th Anniversary in 2022.  

I know the friendly Altamont community will welcome the Reimer family warmly!
