Alan Wang, a junior at Guilderland High School, won a State Archives award for his paper on the relationship between Lewis Morgan, known as the father of American Anthropology, the last Grand Sachem of the Iroquois, and their influence on Karl Marx
This was very interesting interview. I really enjoyed listening to this young man answer these questions. The enthusiasm he showed on his topic and the amount of research that he conducted was very impressive.

Steck’s bill is now state law. The “Trapped at Work Act” in the Senate was sponsored by Rachel May, a Democrat from Syracuse. No longer can contract provisions force workers to repay training costs when they leave a job.
Barry Alex Finsel portrayed a department that was geared to help the most vulnerable students, that has a curriculum representing a diverse body of students, and that focuses on individual students developing their own voices.
“It was actively snowing for part of the time, but the cold is always a problem,” said Molgard. “Pieces of equipment do freeze up. We were able to get water fairly quickly on the fire but the fire was just too advanced. There wasn’t any real way to save the house.”
